PPFD
The sheer amount of useable light hitting a leaf per second.
Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) measures the exact number of photons in the PAR range (colors plants can actually use) falling on a square meter every second. It's the most accurate 'instantaneous' reading possible.
